Megan Rault is a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, educator, and audio engineer from Sun Prairie, WI. She graduated from Northern Illinois University in May 2023 and is now based in the Chicago area playing with groups like Shout Section Big Band, Dean-Dorhauer Jazz Orchestra, BAJA, The Mamiltons, and her own duo group with Frank Novak on guitar. Megan explores all styles from jazz to pop to rock and beyond, creating her own unique style within each genre. She is currently a private woodwind instructor in Northern Chicago area and has been teaching for 6 years.  She is available to teach saxophone, flute, and clarinet lessons and can teach or tutor in music theory. In addition to performing and teaching, Megan also works as a sound technician for performances big and small, from running PAs for an outdoor gig to running a soundboard for a full jazz orchestra.

Megan is currently taking a break from performing due to health problems, but is hoping to be back in the near future!
